Introduction
Beyond Imagination lies the horrible experiences that have plagued the most curious men since forbidden knowledge was first writ down. In these tales the reader will be opened up to a world of twists and turns that wind through the deepest recesses of the human mind and into the world of insanity and mysterious ancient truths. Let this epic stand as a warning to never seek what shouldn't be known, and never make common something ancient and forgotten.

FromThere Were Three of Them
"There were three of them. Thrice was the forbidden land trod by out-beings not meant for this time or place. What they were I can not even begin to convey to such uneducated minds as those who have forced me to write this account and sign it. I may as well sign it in blood for it is to serve as my gateway to oblivion if I should complete it."

FromThe Resurrectionist
"Though to my recollection I only walked a few blocks, I somehow found myself at the edge of town, looking over the unsightly graveyard. A timberwolf howled in the distance. A cloud stretched itself over the moon. A man robbed graves.
He was cloaked entirely in black robes, and was dragging up a body from a six-foot pit at the base of a stone marker. I could hardly make out his face in the dark night, but it was clearly irregular beneath that blackened cloak. Teeth shone where lips should've been and eyes bulged where lids should've blinked."

FromSome Were Brought Back
"Reports of aberrant creatures came in to constables from all over the area. People locked up their houses and watched from their windows as a small parade of "half man, half animal" creatures went skittering through the township and residence areas. One diary entry read, '...the things were disgusting, and moved crazily with the look of insane men, as many of them bore human heads or torsos. The limbs tended to be animal, some with dog-like legs in back and human arms in front. Surely the Devil must have contrived these things.'"

FromThe Occult Cycle
"He worked alone, his hands defiling the bodies of the dead. The room was decorated in a combination of torturous iron bars, traps, tables, restraints, and clamps. Among these objects were scientific vials, papers, liquids, and vaporous substances. He knew not of my presence in a dark corner of the room, or so I thought at the time."

FromSurvivors of the Dead
"Through some damnable perversion of nature there were survivors of those already dead. From the black mists of eon-dead forces something came forth... something that affected a household of god-fearing citizens of Centuria, Minnesota, something... that also affected me."

FromThe Terror Out of Earth
"'Ahh then you prolly know 'bout him and the demons that walk always below, in the dark earth. Whut happened to me? Someone or something opened the way below, and them things with their huge eyes and slashing fingers came up in the night, came up to the surface. That demon spawn from undergroun', their makin' better ones.'"

FromThe Stranger Within
"I put pen to paper on this grave evening to provide once and for all the truth about the Grendington murders committed ten years ago to this night. This epistle is to be taken with the utmost seriousness, and none should look into the matter of the abandoned house on Lynn Avenue in the aforementioned city. That occursed stead was the beginning of my descent into madness that leads me to my goal tonight. Upon completion of this telling of facts I shall hang myself in the basement of this dwelling for derilicts and madmen.

Below the Surface of Insanity: "However the events which were to follow would change my mind on the matter quite entirely. My name is Richter Loveless, and I have descended below the surface of insanity on that damned planet of fire."

NightHawks: "The gist of the reports was that police in the area were baffled by a series of grave robberies the likes of which had not been seen before. The bodies didn’t just disappear from their graves; they reappeared later under especially unusual circumstances. Robert Santos was dead three months before his body was found sitting on a bench in Mason Park. Another article reported that a Mrs. Grace Donnely, deceased from breast cancer since 1999 turned up in bed alongside her husband one morning after the horrendous smell of the corpse awoke him. And in the third clipping a young high school man of 18 had died in a car crash just three weeks preceding the finding of his corpse face down in a plate of half-eaten food"

There are Other Things: "Among the Bibles, hymns, books of parables, collections of video tapes, sermons, psalms, and various author’s studies was one particular folder marked “Personal Studies,” fully three inches thick and bent by its fullness. I curiously leafed through the file and found a deeper study into many things, most notable though was a delving look into Hebrew and Aramaic languages, plus a generous study of the much debated “Bible Code.” The exhaustiveness of the work kept me from reading too closely, but I was soon distracted by a leather bound daybook which fell from the folder and clapped my shoe. It was labeled The Devils in Delirium and beneath this the curious appellation “Lady X” was affixed. With curiosity renewed I paged through the booklet and found before me a sprawling narrative which was only now and again labeled with dates."

Dark Flesh of the Earth:
"He walked around back to inspect the grounds and the tree. The downward view he had before didn’t do the last night’s change any justice. Now up close to it, he could not believe how the thing had grown. It had doubled in size and was sprouting leaves all over its dark, gnarled branches. Also the bark texture had changed; it was plump and stretched, with a membranous quality not unlike skin. Burrows cocked his head and refocused on the trunk, the look made his hair bristle. He reached out to touch it and was thoroughly shocked when it appeared to draw back in recoil"
